Shopify Markets monitoring

Keep every Shopify Market ready to sell.

MarketGuard monitors product availability, regional pricing, currency configuration and catalog changes across Shopify Markets — and tells you when something drifts.

Monitoring is read-only. Shopify changes require a separate, explicit Currency Guard confirmation.

Market configuration drifts quietly

Every catalog edit, price list change and new product can alter what a Market actually sells. Nothing in Shopify tells you when that goes wrong.

  • A product disappears from a Market after a catalog or publication change.
  • A regional price moves further than you intended.
  • A new product never becomes available where you expected it.
  • A Market's currency configuration starts presenting an unintended currency.
  • An issue you already fixed quietly comes back.

Four guards, one job

Each guard answers a different question about the same catalogue.

Availability Guard

Checks that the products you expect in a Market are actually available there.

You find out when a product quietly stops selling in a region.

Price Guard

Compares each Market's regional price against the thresholds you set.

Unexpected regional price moves surface before customers see them.

Currency Guard

Verifies that digital and non-shippable products stay priced in the currency you intend.

You know when a Market could present a different currency than planned.

Change Guard

Records meaningful changes — and only changes — across products, Markets and prices.

You can answer “what changed?” without reading scan logs.

Questions

Does MarketGuard change my store?

Monitoring is read-only. Currency Guard changes inventory shipping and monitored Market currency settings only when you review the impact and confirm Apply Shopify setup. It sets a fixed Market price only for the product you configure, and never writes catalogs, publications or translations.

What does MarketGuard monitor?

Whether the products you expect in each Market are available there, how each Market's regional price moves against your thresholds, whether currency configuration still matches your intent, and what meaningfully changed since the last verification.

What is Currency Guard?

Currency Guard verifies the intended currency for digital and non-shippable products. Its optional setup marks a selected product non-shippable and makes monitored Markets preserve one currency. Shopify applies that currency to every product in those Markets.

Why do I need MarketGuard if Shopify already has Markets?

Shopify gives you the controls. MarketGuard watches the result. Catalogs, publications and price lists drift as your catalogue changes, and nothing tells you when a product silently stops being available in a Market you sell to.

Can I try MarketGuard free?

Yes. The Free plan monitors 10 products in one Market with no time limit, and Guard includes a 7-day free trial.

How does automatic monitoring work?

On Free you run a verification when you want one. Paid plans verify on a schedule, and Guard and above also react to product changes as they happen, so you are told without asking.
